Real Estate License Press Releases

Laguna Hills, Calif. -- October 5, 2007 -- Appraisal students can get a jumpstart on their new education requirements by enrolling in Allied Real Estate Schools' 150-hour Appraisal Licensing Package. On January 1, 2008, the AQB will require 150 hours of appraisal education for people wanting to get a real estate appraiser license. Students can get ahead by starting now -- before the new 2008 regulations go into effect.

The new education regulations require all new appraisal students to complete 150 hours of appraisal education, up from 75 hours of required coursework. Allied's Appraisal Licensing Package meets the AQB education requirements and provides the hours students need to get their new license. By enrolling now and finishing their coursework sooner, they will have an advantage in their career.

"Students have a unique opportunity to start their education before the January 1st changes," said George Achenbach, president of Allied Schools. "Then when the new regulations roll around, they will be ahead of the competition, enabling them to find a mentor and start their appraisal training hours sooner."

In addition to their education hours, students are required to partner with a certified licensed appraiser to complete their experience hours. Finishing their coursework sooner will enable them to find a supervising appraiser sooner. As a result, they will enter the job market earlier than many new appraisers, and have an advantage when it comes to building their new career.

"By enrolling now, students can be among the first to get started with the new courses and the first to finish," said Achenbach. "They can complete the 2008 requirements before other people even get started."

Allied's Appraisal Licensing Package includes all of the required coursework in one all-inclusive package. It has everything new appraisal students need to meet the 2008 education requirements:

- 75-Hour Appraisal Licensing Course

- 15-Hour National USPAP Course

- NEW 30-Hour Real Estate Appraisal Sales Comparison Course

- NEW 15-Hour Real Estate Appraisal Market Analysis Course

- NEW 15-Hour Real Estate Appraisal Site Valuation and Cost Course
