What are the state license requirements?
To be eligible to apply for the real estate salesperson license, you must meet the following criteria:
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Complete 60 hours of real estate fundamentals. Allied will help you meet your requirements!
- Successfully pass the real estate license examination.
- Complete the application for a Washington real estate license.
How do I become a real estate salesperson?
You simply need to complete a few easy steps to become a licensed real estate salesperson.
- Satisfy the state education requirements. This entails enrolling in an approved Washington Real Estate Principles Course. Allied is approved by the State of Washington, Department of Licensing, Real Estate Program.
- Upon completion of the course, you will receive a certificate of completion and Candidate Examination Handbook from your school. The handbook contains information from Promissor, the state’s testing service, about registering for the state examination at one of seven sites throughout Washington. Allied will give you the information you need to succeed.
- Once you pass the exam, you will receive an Application for Real Estate License at the examination site, which can be completed and signed by the applicant and employing broker, and mailed with the license fee to the Olympia office.
What will be the expiration date of my first salesperson's license?
Your first salesperson's license will expire on your second birthday following the initial issue of the license.
