What are the computer system requirements?
The courses are designed to run on a Windows-based PC. This means that your computer needs to be equipped with a Windows operating system. The browser requirements include: Netscape Navigator 4.0 or greater, and Internet Explorer 4.0 or greater. This will enable you to access the online course material.
What if I use AOL as my Internet Service Provider?
You may still access the Internet using your AOL account, but our site works best with either Netscape or Internet Explorer as the browser. After connecting to the Internet using AOL, minimize the window and launch either Netscape or Internet Explorer to continue working.
How do I access the online exam preparation materials?
It is easy to access your online course through the real estate website (www.realestatelicense.com). Follow four EASY steps to get started:
- Click "Student Login" on the top right-hand side of the screen.
- Select your course from the drop-down menu.
- Enter your unique password.

How do the exam preparation materials prepare me for the state exam?

What education do I need to get my Illinois real estate license?
To become licensed in the state of Illinois, you must complete 45 hours of pre-license instruction in approved courses. A minimum of 15 of these hours must be in the areas of agency, disclosure and environmental issues, or any other current topic as determined by the Education Advisory Council.
How do I enroll in the Illinois real estate license exam?
The Illinois real estate license exam is administered by Applied Measurement Professionals (AMP). What are the Illinois continuing education requirements?
As a salesperson, you must complete 12 hours of continuing education every two years.
How do I renew my Illinois real estate license?
You must accurately fill out a renewal application and send it, along with the appropriate fee, to the Licensing Department in Springfield before the renewal date. As a real estate salesperson, you must renew your license by April 30 of every odd numbered year.
